booking & salon policies

A polite reminder that all appointments are made in accordance with our Booking & Salon Policies, as follows:

  • A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure all appointments. This applies to every booking.


  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. Anything less than this will be treated as a no-show, and the full cost of the treatment will be charged.


  • All booking changes or cancellations must be made via our online booking system. If you’re unable to access this, please contact the salon directly and speak with a member of the team. Unfortunately, we’re unable to manage booking changes via social media, voicemail, text messages or emails.


  • By booking an appointment, you agree that in the event of a no-show or cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice, the full cost of the treatment may be charged to your original payment method. Please note that our system may automatically take payment from your stored card details in these circumstances.


  • If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible. While we will always try to be accommodating, arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be classed as a no-show and the above cancellation policy will apply.


  • A patch test is compulsory for all lash, brow and microdermabrasion treatments and must be completed at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. It is the client’s responsibility to book and attend a patch test, which can be booked online. If a patch test is not completed within the required timeframe, the appointment will be automatically cancelled.


  • We regretfully do not infill or remove lash or nail work carried out by another salon. We are only able to infill lashes or nails that were originally applied at Glow Beauty Studio.


  • We offer two complimentary nail repairs with any nail infill appointment. Any additional repairs will be charged at £4–£7 per nail, depending on length. If more than two repairs are required, please ensure a nail repair is added to your booking to allow sufficient time.


  • Any additional nail services, including nail art and French tips, must be booked in advance as they require extra time. Unfortunately, we’re unable to add these services on the day if sufficient time has not been allocated.


  • Nail infills must be booked within four weeks of the original application. Appointments booked beyond this will be classed as a removal and full set or fresh overlay and charged accordingly. If there is not enough time to complete this, you may be asked to rebook for a longer appointment.


  • If you are booking a treatment for a special occasion, holiday or travel abroad, we kindly recommend scheduling your appointment at least 72 hours prior to the event. This allows time to support you in the unlikely event of any reaction or issue.


  • No children or pets are permitted in the salon (with the exception of guide dogs).


  • We accept card payments, cash and gift vouchers.


  • All prices are subject to change.


  • Any refunds are issued entirely at our discretion and may be subject to fees charged by our online payment provider.


  • If you move your appointment, your booking fee may not automatically transfer to the new booking, as booking fees apply to each individual appointment. Any transfer of a booking fee is at our discretion, and the 48-hour cancellation policy will then apply to the rescheduled appointment.


  • While we aim to keep all appointments as scheduled, occasional changes may be necessary due to staff annual leave or unforeseen circumstances. We will always give as much notice as possible and minimise any disruption.


  • Glow Beauty Studio is a nut-free salon. Please do not bring any items containing nuts onto the premises.


  • Appointments with a Junior team member may take slightly longer, and results may vary as they continue to develop their skills. To reflect this, treatments with Junior team members are available at a reduced Junior Rate, which is applied automatically when booking.

LASH EXTENSION POLICY

We provide all of our clients with clear aftercare advice at their first appointment, and we kindly ask that this is followed to ensure the best possible results.


Not following the recommended aftercare can affect retention, meaning your lash extensions may not last as long as expected.


If you experience any retention issues within the first 24 hours of your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll arrange a complimentary review at the earliest opportunity.


A standard lash infill requires at least 50% of your lash extensions to remain. If you attend an infill appointment with less than 50% remaining, a full set may be required to achieve the desired result and will be charged accordingly.
